Yesterday was the anniversary of Alessendro Volta’s birthday, the man who brought the world the Voltic Pile, the worlds first battery.  The date has since been celebrated as  National Battery Day. To join the celebrations we have put together a quick history of the selfless battery. An invention that has allowed the world to become mobile, but in our opinion, has not gained as much celebration as it deserves!

So take a read and give those selfless heroes a little thank you.

    Would have been perect if it has been proof read by some nit picking twit like me.
    e.g. chemistry was spelt like this even in 1960, and just before the battery revolution we have your version of you’re.
    But it was quick and informative.
