The 18th of February celebrates Alessendro Volta’s birthday, the man who brought the world the Voltic Pile, the worlds first battery. The date has since been celebrated as National Battery Day. To join the celebrations we have put together a quick history of the selfless battery. An invention that has allowed the world to become mobile, but in our opinion, has not gained as much celebration as it deserves!
