Description
The Tadiran SL-750 is a standard 1/2 AA size lithium battery. The SL-700 series offers an enhanced start compared to the SL-300 series, meaning a major improvement of voltage delay at the start of discharge at medium current levels and an intermittent discharge at medium current levels. Because of this, these batteries are perfect for use as memory back-up in a wide range of Computers. They have also been known to go into a range of Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR) Alarm Systems and Wireless Alarm Systems.
Tadiran cells are known for their high energy density and high terminal voltage. They have an extremely low self discharge (less than 1% per annum) and a wide operating temperature of between -55ºC to +85ºC. Cases on these batteries are hermetically sealed, ensuring protection against leakage.
We can supply this Tadiran battery as a standard cell or with Tags, Axial Pins, Polarised Pins or Radial Pins.
Note: The four letters printed after “SL-750” on the cell determine traceability.

Very good service from Cell Pack Solutions, but does the packaging need to be so massive, presumably adding to the delivery charge?
I periodically order these – usually 5 at a time – for my wireless alarm system. They came in a very large cardboard box sandwiched between plastic trays, keeping them well apart.
Is there really no other way of safely packing them for transport?

The delivery charge on these batteries is based on a next working day service with Parcelforce. We cannot legally send these lithium goods through the post so unfortunately, we cannot offer an alternative option. With regards to the packaging, we use a UN carton with all of the appropriate warnings and symbols relevant to the transport of these goods. I hope this clarifies the delivery costs.

I commend your website for providing extensive information, including that the SL750 should be used for alarm systems. I had tried various other 3.6v 1/2AA batteries in the past and some did not clear the ‘low battery’ error. The Tadiran SL350 seemed OK but I note its specification difference from the SL750.
For the SL700 series batteries alone, Tadiran recommend using after storage for no more than 3 years (see their product data catalogue). Hence my initial concern about the dates.
