I recently completed a 10 mile walk from The Robin Hood Inn to Boldon, back to Bede’s World and then through Primrose country park back to the inn. I’m sure a fair amount of money was collected through sponsorship. There were some great characters on the trip, many of whom had never walked this distance before, and all of whom completed it with happy smiles .
Health and safety rules had a lot to say about the route we had to take, much of which I have to admit I had never been on before and I have to say that I was amazed by the amount of litter and general rubbish that spoiled a great part of it, especially the Primrose nature reserve.
