I was invited to the South Tyneside Council launch event for their plans for 2009 – 2012. They started with a review of the previous years’ activities and all in all, it is plain to seen to that they are a well run organisation.
The event culminated with their annual in-house employee awards ceremony. Jackie Nolan, won the Perfect Partner Award, in part for her assistance in helping to establish the South Tyneside Manufacturing Forum (STMF). The form was formed to pull together and give a voice to the manufacturers in South Tyneside, something that we as a company actively support. With now almost 60 members, it is now becoming a real force and offers its own members real value for its very reasonable membership fee.
