Off to a Racing Start!
Young student Andrew Nickerson was presented a Remote Control Kit Car after completing his two weeks work experience with Cell Pack Solutions.
Andrew, a student of Mortimer Community College and also on the TDR young apprentice program, spent two weeks at the company working in the Custom Battery Assembly Division and in the company’s newly established Remote Control Hobbies Division. As part of his experience he built a Racing Car from Kit form and assisted in Repairs as well as getting to grips with the assembly processes involved in Custom Battery Pack Design.
Derek Hunter Divisional Manager of CPS Hobbies, decided that it would be a nice gesture to give Andrew a reward for his enthusiasm demonstrated over the time he spent with us. This is the second year in row the company has assisted in the Schools Work Experience Scheme, we had full support from all parties Connexions, Mortimer School and TDR and are looking forward to getting involved in the future.
