A warm Geordie welcome to Melina who just finished her sixth form studies in Germany. She did a few weeks of summer work experience with us in to help practice and refine her English and Geordie accents. As seems to be the norm with German exchange students, she spoke English better that some of the locals. I think the highlight for her was seeing McFly perform at the Bents Park Concert in South Shields.
The end of Melina’s time with us coincided with the senior team from Tadiran Batteries visiting the UK to see some key accounts and to also see how our new factory was coming.
