If you’re not already aware, we’re celebrating 25 years of Cell Pack Solutions this year! Our journey has been incredible, marked by unforgettable memories and, of course, overcoming the occasional hurdle along the way. At CPS, we firmly believe that true growth stems from finding solutions to these obstacles. To honor this belief, we’re dedicated to supporting our team as they pursue their own personal goals during our anniversary year. Whether collectively or individually, we aim to create more cherished memories together.

We’ve compiled a list of events and undertakings already scheduled for the upcoming year. Our overarching goal is to complete a minimum of 25 challenges throughout the year.
The list below will be updated as we add more.

Schedules Events

March on Cancer (24th March 2024)

As part of the Jarrow Relay for Life they organise a pier to pier walk as part of the March on Cancer Campaign. Some of our team will be joining fellow Relayers as we parade the 12km coastal route between Roker Pier and South Shields Pier!
Many of those taking part in the event are doing so as part of their training for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and other challenges planned for later in the year.

Taking on El Camino (22nd April 2024)

Our Jarrow Relay for Life Team has been called Next stop Santiago since we started back in 2018. World Lockdowns and Life got in the way but this April Eddie will complete The Camino De Santiago di Compostela, trekking the Portuguese Way.

The Camino is a 1000 Year pilgrimage route that stretches across Europe and ends at the fantastic Cathedral in Santiago where the remains of St James now lay. Eddie also hopes to also undertake the additional route, the Camino to Finisterre, which was known as the pilgrimage to the Edge of the World .

Having trekked to Everest Base Camp in 2010, Eddie viewed that as reaching the Top of his World. Now, in 2024, he aims to walk to the Edge of his World by undertaking his own pilgrimage. Having faced a few health challenges in those in-between years it is this challenge that has kept him motivated throughout.

Next year we may have to change our Relay team name.

Yorkshire 3 Peaks (10th May 2024)

For years there has been whispers about how good it would be to do a hiking challenge as a team! We thought it was the perfect time to turn those ideas into actions and got a date in the diary for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks! Those that are taking part will tackle the 24 mile Pennine route that checks off the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough within 12 hours.

The group are excited to make some lifelong memories and take in some incredible scenery on route. They’ll also be using this challenge to fundraise for our Relay for Life Team.

Depending on numbers we may have spaces available, if you want to join us get in touch.

Colour Obstacle Rush (8th June2024)

This challenge looks like A LOT of FUN! Our team will take on 30 inflatable obstacles, foam, music and of course colour… Lots of colour! Its deemed the most fun run on earth and promises to be a blast!

to find out more about the run itself, head to the Colour Obstacle Rush website for your closest event.

Relay for Life – Hitting the £1,000,000 (13th July 2024)

We’re taking on our 5th Jarrow relay for life this year and hoping to help break the £1,000,000 figure for the total funds raised by the incredible event! We’ve set ourselves a target to raise £3000 and hope that with the help of the numerous challenges ongoing throughout the year we’ll smash that figure!
We’re hoping as we get closer to the event a number of our team will set themselves goals to complete on the day.
You can see how were doing on our Team Next Stop Santiago Just Giving page.

Skydive (9th August 2024)

After the success of last years abseil challenge, a number of our adrenaline junkies wanted to push the boundaries even further and take on a sky-dive. Their wish will come true as they embark on a daring 15,000 ft Tandem Jump—a thrilling experience not for the faint-hearted, but one that promises to create lasting memories! All we know is we can’t wait to see the videos from this one.

Personal Goals

As well as organising a number of Group activates, we’re also open to our team setting their own personal challenges to accomplish! So far the team have set themselves targets such as

Just the Beginning

We’re hoping this is this is just the beginning of an incredible year as we aim to hit 25 challenges for reaching a quarter of a century in our CPS Journey!
