Completed my first long hike at the weekend – about 12 miles around the moorlands near Bowes, went with a lovely bunch of people from the The BOAC. Invested in a pair of waterproof trousers, but the weather kept dry , realised that ankle gaiters are a must. Surprised at the lack of aches and pains the following day, so maybe the days in the gym are paying off. Booked up for a trip to Askrigg in Wensleydale where I will have a go at the longer walk.

Not really started collected for the charity side of the walk yet, but just heard that one of the other walkers has already collected £6K so will have to up my game a little.

I would like to thank all the people that have supported me so far, it is great to see the words of abuse and support. Gary have not given up the double sausage sandwiches, have just postponed them until May 18th. Thanks for your help with the resin case. For those that need resin supplies check with East Coast Fibreglass Supplies.
