Location: South Shields
The Marketing Co-ordinator plays a key role within the Commercial Team, supporting the
planning, delivery and continuous improvement of marketing activities across the Cell Pack
family of brands. The role is responsible for maintaining our digital presence, creating
engaging content, supporting exhibitions and events, analysing marketing performance and
contributing to the development of future marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the company’s social media channels, ensuring all content is
consistent with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Create engaging content for social media, websites, email marketing campaigns and other
digital channels.
- Maintain and update company websites, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and optimised
for search engines (SEO).
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements to user experience and
conversion rates.
- Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
- Monitor, analyse and report on marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics,
Google Search Console and social media insights to support data-driven decision making.
- Produce high-quality written content for brochures, case studies, press releases, blogs,
websites, newsletters and other marketing materials.
- Assist with the planning, organisation and promotion of exhibitions, trade shows, customer
events and company initiatives.
- Support other reasonable duties as required by the Commercial Manager.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS), ideally WordPress.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing.
- Experience managing business social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, YouTube and
Meta.
- Experience using Google Analytics or similar reporting tools.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas.
Desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or related discipline.
- CIM qualification or working towards one.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Alternative.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (currently use Brevo).
- Experience managing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising campaigns, including Google Ads and/or
LinkedIn Ads.
Hours of Work:
37 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am & 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am & 2pm on
Friday.
Holidays
20 days per year plus bank holidays. One extra day is accrued for each year with the company up to a
maximum of 25 days. 3 days annual leave must be taken for the Christmas shutdown period
