In this age of recession, companies are often tempted to cut costs and sometimes overlook the implications of taking on the cheapest option. Having personally been involved in the battery industry for over 20 years, I have come across many situations where decisions made purely on price has resulted in major repercussions. When I eventually set up my own business I decided that I would have certain core philosophies, one of the most important was that I would aim to work as close as possible to our Key Battery Manufacturers and in particular those that offered excellent technical back up.
In this age of the Internet, we are regularly targeted by new and unknown names from the far flung parts of the world, so we do know that there are cheaper products out there but it is often the case that you get what you pay for.
We build Custom Battery Packs, we try to be competitive and we do win a good percentage of business that comes our way, but we will never be the cheapest because at the end of the day there is a cost to achieve and maintain our Quality Accreditations. There is also a cost to have the technical backup available and there is a cost to our manufacturers to have their cells tested to the relevant UL Standards for Safety. We offer local UK Company Facilities and we often win business on the speed and flexibility of our services.
